Ordering Materials for the Library

Approval Plan - SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO BUDGET CUTS

The Library receives books as they are published based on subject and publisher profiles.  Members of the faculty are invited to preview and select books in their areas of expertise and interest. The books are located on the selection shelves in Technical Services (Ground Floor) and are on display for approximately a month.  Click on the above link for additional information.

The Approval Plan includes comprehensive receipts of University Press publications over nearly all subjects. In addition, the areas of Business, Education, and Nursing have broad subject and trade publisher plans. Architecture, Art, African-American and African Studies, Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice, receive books of selected trade publishers. Other academic areas receive notification slips in profiled areas.
